"I quit my professional life in Mumbai and shifted to a quaint village in Goa in 2016" - Archana Jhangiani

"I had it all - stable leadership roles, steadily progressing career path, healthy financials and a multitude of accolades - in short the quintessential professional dream life of every 35-year-old workaholic in Mumbai. But it was this very pattern that began to make me feel restricted.

I knew I was an explorer of my passions. I knew my stability was determined not by the 'have', but by the 'have yet not'. I knew my restricted core had to be shaken and an uncomfortable path had to be taken.

I quit my professional life in Mumbai and shifted to a quaint village in Goa in 2016. A new life thus began - the kind of life that forces one to explore within and face one's own wilderness.

In Goa, I co-founded 'Home of Ara' a creative studio to host and partner with like-minded clients. Always curious about learning more about the human mind, I even completed a master’s degree in Clinical Psychology and began to facilitate sessions on improving Mental Health. All the things that I had ever been rigid and ordered about, I chose to let go in pursuit of my personal growth.

Today I am consciously me; aware of myself more than ever before. Life for me begins only at the end of my comfort zone.”
